“The 3rd Decade™—
a 10-year focus on personal finance education and investing that changes lives.”
— Bob Swift
TCIF’s 3rd Decade™ program serves young adults of moderate means (teachers, nurses, military personnel, etc.) in their 20’s and 30’s, their third decade, because we know that it’s a critical time for building their financial future. So important is this goal that participants in the 3rd Decade™ program are able to earn financial incentives.
We are excited that you are ready to manage your financial future. Please read through the following criteria and information for participating in TCIF’s 3rd Decade™ program. Once you are ready, complete the application form and we will be in touch.

This program is strictly educational in format and intent and receives no compensation from any transactions or advice.
Your commitment to us
Our hope is that this pilot program demonstrates the value to young adults of financial education and advisory services. In order to demonstrate success, we will need to collect financial information from each participant annually for the two years you’re participating in the program. For this reason we will ask you to complete a Net Worth Statement annually for two years. We will also collect demographic information from program participants. Because our firm is regulated by the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), we are required to have a Limited Consulting Agreement signed by each program participant. Although there is no cost to participate and we receive no compensation from any transactions or for advice, the SEC requires our working relationship be in writing. Renewal of the agreement at the end of the program is strictly voluntary.
